Liupanshui City is situated in southwest China's Guizhou province. It is an energy industrial city based on the coal mining. The total area of Liupanshui is 9,965 square kilometers, including Liuzhi, Pan, Shuicheng and Zhongshan county-level divisions. The population is about 3.2 million, 27.4 percent of which are Miao, Yi and Buyi ethnic minorities.
Liupanshui is known as the coolest city in China. The annual average temperature is between 12.3 to 15.2 degrees Celsius. The average temperature of the hottest month in summer is 19.7 degrees Celsius. It has beautiful lakes and mountains. You can enjoy the coolest summer in Liupanshui.
