Oktoberfest慕尼黑啤酒节

Oktoberfest is the biggest fair in the world. It takes place in Munich, Germany every year. It started over 200 years ago and has only been canceled twice. The first was due to the war, and the second was because of a cholera epidemic. It started out as a wedding celebration for Bavarian royalty. People got such a kick out of it that they decided to do something similar the following year. Every year since then, it has grown. Oktoberfest is now celebrated anywhere with a strong German heritage.
No one knew the wedding of Prince Ludwig and Princess Therese would change history. Local people were invited to take part in the celebration on October 12, 1810, and horse races were even organized. The locals liked celebrating together, so they held another horse race and agricultural show the following year. Then, food and beer stands were set up, and in 1818, rides were brought in. The first ones were a carousel and two swings. As Oktoberfest grew, people from thousands of miles away traveled to enjoy the festivities. They brought money, ideas, and fun to the area. Eventually, Oktoberfest became an international party hosted by Germany.
