Design a parallel circuit in which each lamp is controlled by separately switch?
In the real wiring system, switches are used so that each lamp can be controlled separately. This diagram shows how three Lamps control by separately switches, one for each lamp.
This is the control of lamps with switch These all three Lamps are connected in parallel. You can see the Live (Phase or Line) wire to switch, in other words all switches are connected in Live (Phase or Line) wire Point to be Noted: Switch is always (only and only) connected in Live (Phase or Line) wire. Not on Neutral wire.
- The first Lamp is OFF, because the switch which is connect to line is OFF, so the circuit is not complete, and there is no way to flowing current, in other word this is an open circuit.
- The second and Third Lamps are ON, because the switches which are connect to line is ON.so the circuit is complete.
Precaution and Key Point: Switch is always (only and only) connected in Live (Phase or Line) wire. Not on Neutral wire. Do not go anywhere near the switches.
