What do Americans like to eat? I love Mexican food! 1）salsa 墨西哥食物中辣调味汁 I love salsa. Salsa is usually a mix of tomatoes, onions hot peppers and cilantro. Salsa里面通常有西红柿、洋葱、辣椒和香菜。 I like spicy salsa! 我喜欢很辣的salsa 2）guacamole 鳄梨色拉酱（在墨西哥，几乎每家餐厅都会提供） It is made of avocado. 鳄梨；鳄梨树（avocado 又被称为牛油果） 3）tortilla chips 玉米薄饼 4）burrito 墨西哥卷饼（burrito baby：跟一个新生婴儿一样大的墨西哥卷饼） This burrito has a lot of stuff inside, there is rice, beans, corn, salsa, cheese, guacamole and a little lettuce. Nothing better than this! OMG美语第62集：FREAK OUT!!! “freak”的一些说法 1）freak 怪人 Look at that guy! He has blue spikey hair! What a freak! 刺猬一样的发型 2）freaky 奇怪的 I had a freaky dream last night. I dreamt I was 10 feet taller than everyone! 3）Freak out!! 发飙了，发脾气 -Ok, don't freak out... I lost your computer. -You did WHAT!? I said don't freak out! -You little jerk! 笨蛋 4）Freaks me out 让我紧张 Just the thought of the final exam freaks me out, I need to study. A really weird guy followed me home last night! I was so freak out 紧张死了 5）control freak 控制狂 My boss is such a control freak, he changes everything I do! 6）clean freak / neat freak 洁癖狂 My roommate is such a neat freak! She cleans the apartment every day! 7）health freak 健康狂 Melissa is a big health freak. She only eats salads. OMG美语第63集：SORRY!!! Different ways to apologize! 1）I apologize. I apologize for the inconvenience. 2）I own you an apology. I was rude last night, I own you an apology. 3）Sorry about that I'm sorry, we're all sold out of the jeans. I'm sorry I hurt you, I didn't mean to! I know I'm late, I got stuck in traffic, sorry about that! 4）My bad 对不起，抱歉 Did you get the movie tickets? I forgot.... My bad! 5）forgive me, please forgive me I totally forgot we had plans, please forgive me! 6）oopsies, oops! I'm sorry oops! My bad Oops! Please forgive me That needs sugar. I added salt instead of sugar! oopsies! OMG美语第64集：Pop Hip Hop R&B Country Jazz 1）pop 流行音乐 Pop music is so fun to dance to. I love Gaga. 2）hip hop 嘻哈 I like to listen to hip hop when I go running, it keeps me pumped up! 兴奋 3）R&B = rhythm and blues 节奏布鲁斯 R&B music can be so romantic! So much love in the lyrics. 4）country music 乡村音乐 Country music, baby! yeehaw! I'm fromOhio, a lot of people in my home town listen to country music. 5）jazz 爵士乐 Jazz is so relaxing. I listen to it on weekend mornings when I make breakfast. OMG美语第65集：MORE music!! 1）blues蓝调 If you have the blues, you can relate to this type of music. 2）blue grass “蓝草”音乐 Blue grass is kinda like country but it has a lot more banjo. “蓝草”音乐很像乡村音乐，但有更多班卓琴。 3）classical music 古典乐 Classical music is so beautiful! I listen to it when I study. 4）opera 歌剧 I sing opera in the shower! 5）swing/big band 摇摆乐 My favorite big band music is obvi Frank Sinatra! OMG美语第66集：Fist pump!! 1）punk 朋克摇滚乐 Punk fans are known for being crazy, they have body piercings all over their face, they have crazy color hair, and their music is just as crazy. 2）broadway music / showtunes Showtunes are songs featured in musicals. 音乐剧中的歌曲 3）house 浩室舞曲 There's only one dance you can do when you dance to house music. Fist pump!!! 4）Indie 独立摇滚乐 Indie music is very popular among American college students, some people call indie, "emo" because it's very emotional! 5）Boy bands 男孩乐队 Don't tell anybody, but I still listen to N*Sync all the time! They're my favorite boy band! OMG美语第67集：Tongue Twisters!!（绕口令） 1）Red leather, yellow leather. （Say that 3 times fast） 2）How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood. 如果一个土拨鼠能够抛木头的话，那么那个土拨鼠可以抛多少木头。 3）If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers. He's inviting all of his friends over for a housewarming party. 3）going away party / farewell party 欢送会 Cameron is moving toNew York, we're throwing him a going away party tonight! 4）baby shower 婴儿洗礼 Yiru is having a baby girl, what should I get her for the baby shower? 5）bridal shower 新娘结婚前的派对 We're going to Melissa's bridal shower tomorrow. What did you get her? I got her a really funny gift! OMG美语第69集：Man up!! 1）man up 男子气一点 Man up and kill that spider! It's scaring me... 2）man to man 老实说，坦率说 Man to man, what happened yesterday? Woman to woman, what happened yesterday? 3）man cave 男人的私人空间 Where's Danny? He was so mad! 3）Babe 美女或男女朋友相互的昵称 Jessica Alba is a babe! Hey babe, I love you! Hey babe, let's cook some dinner! 4）girl talk 女孩子或女人之间的谈话 It's time for girl talk. All I wanna talk about is makeup, clothes and cute boys! 5）womanizer 花花公子（maneater的相反） Don't fall for Bob, he's a womanizer. "Womanizer" is also a really good Britney Spears song! |
