A New Jersey substitute science teacher is jailed after allegedly having sex with a 16-year-old student.
Linda Hardan, of Prospect Park, picked the Manchester Regional High School student up and drove the boy to Wayne on Thursday to have sex, Passaic County Prosecutor Gyselle Da Silva alleged to the North Jersey Record.
The 21-year-old teacher, who's also a former student at Manchester Regional, was arrested Friday after the assault had been reported to police, the Record reported.
She is jailed at Passaic County Jail on sexual assault charges with a $250,000 bond.

She is employed by the Passaic County Educational Services Commission.
“We are disappointed to learn that someone who occasionally worked as a substitute at the school engaged in an inappropriate relationship with a student,” Richard Ney, principal at Manchester Regional, told NJ.com.
