Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine is dedicated to training a new generation of practitioners in the 2,500 year old art and science of Traditional Chinese Medicine. We strive to introduce students to the most advanced theoretical and practical Traditional Chinese Medicine training available in North America. We make every effort to promote and advance public understanding and knowledge of Chinese Medicine in our communities. At Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, we endeavour to guide our students on a journey toward fulfilling both personal and professional dreams, as they become dedicated leaders and practitioners in the field of medicine.

The Diploma of Acupuncture and the Diploma of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner Programs at OCTCM are designed to meet and exceed the educational requirements of CTCMPAO towards Registered Acupuncturists (R.Ac) and Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners (R.TCMP). We prepare our graduates to attend the national examinations held by CARB-TCMPA.

Acupuncture

6-semester full-time professional program: 2100 hours of study with 600 hours of clinic practice included

(three-year full-time or two-year intensive full-time)

 

T.C.M. Practitioner

9-semester full-time professional program: 3150 hours of study with 780 hours of clinic practice included

(four-year full-time or three-year intensive full-time)

Osteopathic

Designed for the regulated medical practitioners in Ontario, such as registered traditional Chinese medicine practitioners (R.TCMP), registered nurses, registered physical therapists, and family doctors. 

Feature Certificate Courses

Wu’s Head Massage

Comprehensive training based on TCM – Tuina (Traditional Chinese Medicine Massage). Directly taught by the founder, Prof. Bin Jiang Wu. He is also the author of “Wu’s Head Massage”. Students are able to give complete treatment upon certification.

Cosmetic Acupuncture

30 hours detailed theoretical and practical training with Prof. Fong Wang.Course will cover the concept, principle and history of Cosmetic acupuncture, treatment methods, cause of disease, pathogenesis, 23 Key Facial points, YonKa facial, Fumigation, Chinese medicine mask, and benefits of Cosmetic Acupuncture and case study.

Continuing Education Courses Credit for The Member Register Under CTCMPAO. According to CTCMPAO requirements: All Registered Acupuncture and TCM Practitioner must complete 15 hours courses credit towards Continuing Education every-year./span>
