Over 100 alumni attended regional U.S. events in Albany, NY; Tampa, FL; Long Island, NY; and Seattle, WA; as well as an alumni panel on Careers in a Global Economy in Washington, DC.

In February over 80 alumni attended four events hosted by the LGBTQ Alumni Network, Recent Alumni Network and a joint event on Overcoming Your Fear of Public Speaking with the Women's Initiative and Toastmasters. Special interest alumni clubs will be featuring another four events in March.

Over 100 alumni attended events in Shanghai, China; Abu Dhabi, UAE; and Tel Aviv, Israel; as well as the third Annual Alumni Panel in London and the second Distinguished Alumni Speaker Series in Shanghai.
There are 11 upcoming events scheduled in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; London, England; Frankfurt, Germany; Istanbul, Turkey; Delhi, India; Tel Aviv, Israel; Dubai, UAE; Doha, Qatar; Cairo, Egypt; Shanghai, China; and Singapore throughout March and April.

NYU Alumni March Madness:
March Madness is a bracket-style tournament & social media competition in which alumni will nominate and vote on the most famous NYU alumnus/a, narrowing it down from 32 to one. The showdown(s) will take place on Facebook and be cross-promoted on Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest. The winner of each round will be determined based on alumni votes, which will be left as a comment on the post.

100 Nights Before Commencement:
Members of the CAA and the CAS alumni relations team hosted a table at the annual "100 Nights before Commencement" on February 11. Over 200 CAS seniors stopped by the table to learn how to stay connected after graduation. Three alumni winners were awarded Violet Prize Packs and over 125 email updates for future alumni were collected.
Over 80 alumni attended NYU Engineering events, including two celebrations for National Engineers Week and an Engineering and Technology Career Fair attended by more than 1,700 NYU students.
Exciting New Engineering Event:
The new alumni program, Take a Future Alumnus/a to Lunch was launched with Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering major Roshaun Morris (ENG ’18), held at a local Brooklyn eatery.
Notable News:
We mourn the loss of NYC activist, Polytechnic alumnus. and former PIAA board member Mr. Horace Morancie (POLY ’58). See the Daily News article to kearn about his life an accomplishments.
The MLK Humanitarian Award was presented to Patricia M. Carey, PhD (STEINHARDT ’89) and Allen M. McFarlane (SPS ’86, STEINHARDT ’92) during NYU MLK Week. Ten additional alumni were also presented with Trailblazer Awards. Read about the event in NYU Alumni Connect.
85 alumni attended individual career coaching, and nearly 50 attended career seminars.
