全球瞩目的“阳光动力2号”太阳能飞机即将离开重庆，飞往下一站南京，准备本次环球之旅最艰难的一段航程———飞越太平洋。

阳光动力设计者和飞行员之一贝特朗·皮卡尔说：“我想以科学探索的方式来激励大家，只要你有开拓者的精神，没有什么做不到的事情。”

And when you hear people who say you are crazy, sometimes you stop because you are afraid. But if you are a pioneer, if you are an explorer, you don’t stop. You take it as a challenge, you take it as additional motivation.

当听到别人说你疯了，出于害怕，有时，你选择了放弃。不过如果你是先锋者、探险者，你不会就此罢休。你将它视作挑战和更大的动力。

Because when you are trained to do something always the same way, and to build airplanes always in the same way, you cannot do something different. Innovation needs input from outside the system. It is not the people who were selling candles who invented the light bulb. And the best electrical car today is not made by a car manufacturer.

因为，当你逐渐养成一成不变的行事风格，造出的飞机千篇一律，就不可能与众不同。创新需要来自体制外的“血液”。并不是卖蜡烛的人发明了灯泡，而当今最成功的电动汽车也不是产自汽车制造商。

Innovation is an old belief, an old habit that you leave behind.

创新是由来已久的观念，是被你们遗忘的老传统。

If you are happy with what you have you will never find something else, this is why the pioneer—the explorer—is always somebody who wants to go into the unknown, into the doubts, into the question marks to stipulate creativity; to have other ways of ideas,other ways of thinking, other ways of reacting.

如果你安于现状，你将永远无法突破。这就是为什么先锋者、探险者总是渴望探索未知、提出质疑，从而激发创造性、突破思维定式、另辟蹊径。

This is a country that knows how much we need clean technologies. AndChinais already first in solar power, first in wind energy, and it will soon, I believe, be first in clean technologies.

中国认识到了我们对清洁技术的迫切需求。中国也是太阳能、风能领域的领导者。我相信，不久的将来，中国还将成为清洁技术领域的领导者。

I think you always have to visualize the consequence of the risk you take. If the risk you take can destroy the entire company, it is too dangerous. You need to keep the business that goes well, but on top of that you need to think: How can I improve?

Bring solutions to the world. The other possibility would be more industrial development, would be to make high altitude UAVs for GSM, Wi-Fi transmission, and things like that. Or maybe we make Solar Impulse 3.
