把握句子主干

例：一个女孩站在门外，满怀期待地看着远方，期待着爸爸归来，她爸爸已离家三年。

主谓宾：女孩看着父亲

第一步： The girl is looking forward to her father.

分词形式后置，稍加修饰，更贴近原意

第二步：The girl standing out of the door is looking forward to her father.

第三步：The girl standing out of the door is looking forward to her father who left home three years ago.

无主句翻译

1. 将句子翻译成被动句

这里将修建更多的公共设施。

More public facilities will be built here.

2.学会采用形式主语的方式

在当今社会上，学好英语非常重要。

It is vey important to learn English well in society today.

3. 采用倒装语序或者存在结构

远方传来优美的琴声。

In the distance sounded a beautiful tweedle.

4.根据实际情况，适当增补主语

熟悉各种风土人情亦必不可少。

You should also be familiar with various local conditions and customs.

1.分清褒贬

You are a lucky dog.你真幸运

Every dog has its day.凡人皆有得意日

2.词义辨析和引申

Life is full of smiles and tears.

生活充满了欢乐和悲伤。

3.根据实际情况、语境对词义作具体化引申

The corrections were marked in red.

修改的地方都用红笔标出。

1.词性转换

我国政府十分关心海外华侨。

Our government shows great concern for the Chinese residents abroad.

2.句子成分转换

She has been a widow only for six months.

她丈夫死了至今才不过半年。（√）

她只做了六个月寡妇。（×）
