She is a very famous hostess in China and she always interviews many different famous people on her show. From presidents to actors to just about anyone who really makes a name for themselves. For a Chinese person, I feel that her English is very good and I’m amazed at the fact that she can talk fluently and freely with people in English. She can get into really deep topic sand still be able to understand and communicate her feelings. I think that’s amazing. I’m a person that loves attending cultural exchange events and I remember one time I met YL at a conference and she was a speaker at the conference. I was very honored to have spoken to her after the conference and I remember asking her about her feelings when she interviews people, but more than that, I asked her about language study. She told me it’s all about being confident and using the language, at least that’s how she did it. These words influenced me a lot and I try my best to be as confident as possible. I’m a person that’s interested in cultural exchange and I often see him in the news, taking part in cultural exchange events. I think it’s amazing that Da Shan is able to speak Chinese so well, you know, it’s very hard to find a western looking person who speaks Chinese like a Beijing native. He is always speaking Chinese and he is very proud to speak Chinese. I want to meet him because I’m very interested in how he is able to master our language.
