我这段时间可谓是忙傻了，作为一个具（xiang）有（yao）责（nian）任（zhong）心（jiang）的小编，当然要保证每天认真工作不出幺蛾子，另外还得抽空想办法在过年前找（zu）个男朋友回家过年，忙得简直就像陀螺一样飞速旋转！

1. Be up to your neck in something: to be extremely busy 埋头忙于某事

昨天下班想跟一位同事聊聊春节计划，谁知道他跟我说：

I'm sorry I can't talk to you now－I'm up to my neck in paperwork.
很抱歉我现在无法与你谈话，我正忙于处理文件。

你们看看我这位同事，桌上积压的文件都快跟他脖子一样高了，到底是堆了多少工作没完成呀？

2. Be on the go (=be on the move): to be very busy for a period of time, especially when this makes you tired. 忙个不停

一直在东奔西跑，可不是在“忙个不停”呢！来看看这个例句有没有道出你的心声：

I've been on the go all week — I'm looking forward to a relaxing weekend now.
我一整个星期都在忙个不停——正盼望周末能放松一下呢。

对我来说，忙了这么久，放松一下的方式当然是睡上一整天，嘻嘻。

3. Have your hands full: to be busy because you have to deal with a lot of different jobs or problems. 忙得不可开交

为了处理不同的事，忙得两只手都没闲着，这个表达忙碌的说法还是挺形象的吧？

You must have your hands full with all this work to do and the children to look after.
你有这么多工作要做，还要照顾孩子，肯定是忙得脱不开身了。

4. As busy as a bee: very busy 忙得团团转

She's been as busy as a bee since she graduated from college.
她自从毕业以后一直忙得要命。

这可能是中国学生表达忙碌最常用的词组了吧，毕竟大家对辛勤工作的小蜜蜂还是比较熟悉的。

5. Have enough, a lot, etc. on your plate: (informal) have enough, a lot of things, etc. to do or be responsible for 手头有太多的事要处理；问题（或工作等）成堆

在plate（盘子）中的可不只有食物喔，“on one's plate”在牛津词典中的解释为“occupying one's time or energy”，表示占用某人时间和能力，所以“have a lot on your plate”就是手头有很多事情要处理的意思啦。例如：

She has a lot on her plate at the moment; that's why she looks so worried all the time.
现在她有一堆事儿要操心，所以看上去一直都很焦虑。

6. Be tied up: If someone or something is tied up, they are busy or being used, with the result that they are not available for anything else. 忙得脱不开身的，不得闲的

要是有人找你帮忙你又不知道咋推辞，不妨试试用这个句子：

I'm afraid I'll be tied up tomorrow morning.
恐怕明天上午我会很忙。

7. Be rushed/run off your feet: spoken to be very busy and always in a hurry 忙得不可开交

All the sales assistants are run off their feet. The shop ought to take on more staff.
营业员全都忙个不停，商店里应该增加人手。
