 oldbigyang 2017-02-15

The young man; suitcases in the back seat;loud noise of an alarm; the bank; robbery; the shouts; people; the bank thief

He dared not stop and dashed to the crowd. He was struck dead with terror. His heart was beating painfully fast and banging against his ribs. However, hearing the shouts, several strong young men in front of the bank blocked and arrested him. Now, every nerve in Authur’s body warned him not to go any further. “I doubt that guy is the bank thief.” said Authur, pointing the man behind.[用非谓语动词] The anger had returned like a hard lump at the back of his throat.

Luckily, just then up came the policemen[倒装句]. Authur began to calm down, his breathing growing slower.[用非谓语动词] He could feel the blood surging round his body and releasing the tension. When the suitcases were opened, many books came in sight. The young man gave Authur a look of concern, saying“I really hope you are not hurt. Maybe we can be friends.” Both of them smiled.
