二、何时用do由do引起的短语用法主要有三种： 1、当该短语表示某人正在工作但不是制作某个物体时（when someone is working, or performing jobs and tasks that do not produce a physical object）。如： 2、当该短语表示笼统地说起某个活动时（when talking about activities in general）。如： We're not doing anything tomorrow night! I have done nothing all day. Do you want to do something on Thursday?
3、当该短语中的do是用作万能do时（to replace a verb with an obvious meaning），即用do来代替其他动词。如： I have to do my hair before dinner. (do my hair相当于style my hair) He's doing the laundry. (do the laundry相当于wash the laundry.) Can you do the dishes, please? (do the dishes相当于wash the dishes)
三、何时用make由make引起的短语用法也主要有三种： 1、make主要用来表示创造性或生产性的动作（typically used for actions that involve some kind of creation or production）。如： This wine is made in France. Her bedroom door is made of wood. My clothes are hand-made.
2、当表示制作或准备食物或三餐时经常用make（when food and meals are made）。如： 3、当用于表达使役或发出声音、制定计划、作出决定等抽象概念时（when used for a produced action or reaction, including sounds and plans and decisions）。如： My parents made me clean my room. That movie makes my mother cry. I heard you make that noise. Have you made the dinner reservation? I hope you make a lot of friends this summer!
