美文欣赏——The Daffodils

春夏秋冬，四季的花儿点缀生命，是人生最美的风景。大大小小，或浓或淡，或雅或媚，香淡各异，各有各的风姿。你我在忙忙碌碌之余正需要水仙花般的恬淡快乐。而我们又何尝不是那朵唯一的花，有我们的花语，心里装着满满的爱……

The Daffodils

William Wordsworth

I wander’d lonely as a cloud

That floats on high o’er vales and hills,

When all at once I saw a crowd,

A host, of golden daffodils;

Beside the lake, beneath the trees,

Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

Continuous as the stars that shine

And twinkle on the Milky Way,

They stretch’d in never-ending line

Along the margin of a bay:

Ten thousand saw I at a glance

Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.

The waves beside them danced, but they

Out-did the sparking waves in glee:

A Poet could not but be gay

In such a jocund company:

I gazed - and gazed - but little thought

What wealth the show to me had brought:

For oft, when on my couch i lie

In vacant or in pensive mood,

They flash upon that inward eye

Which is the bliss of solitude;

And then my heart with pleasure fills,

And dances with the daffodils.

William Wordsworth（1770-1850）：英国诗人，1791年毕业于剑桥大学。他曾拥护法国大革命，后因对雅各宾专政不解而产生幻灭感。1792年后迁居湖区多赛特郡乡间。当时还有些诗人与他共同生活在湖区，人称“湖畔”诗人。他们寄情湖区山光水色，歌颂大自然，用大自然的美丽否定城市的丑陋。
