It’s been a few days, croc has felt restless and anxious, sometimes he’s so cold he shivers.
已经好几天了，鳄鱼总是心神不宁，不知所措，有时候他冷得发抖.

Sometimes he’s so hot he swoons.
有时候，他热得发昏.

Sometimes, he’s very unhappy.
有时候，他觉得很不开心.

Sometimes he’s so happy he wants to hug the whole world, because everything is so wonderful.
有时候高兴起来就想拥抱全世界，觉得一切都是那么美好。

It’s clear, croc is in love!
很明显，鳄鱼恋爱了！

When someone is in love, little problems come up, especially when croc is in love with giraffe.Giraffe is very very tall, that’s not the problem, the problem is when croc wants to give giraffe the sweetest smile, she cannot possibly see.
当某人恋爱的时候，几乎都会发生这种小问题，更何况鳄鱼爱上的是长颈鹿。长颈鹿非常非常高大，这还不是问题，问题是当鳄鱼想给长颈鹿一个最甜蜜的微笑时，她根本看不到。

I should be taller, thought croc.
我应该再长高大一点，鳄鱼想。

if I walked on stilts, surely she would see me.

如果我踩高跷，她肯定看得到我。

Unfortunately that day giraffe rode the bike from underneath the stilts, she didn’t notice croc’s sweet smile.
可惜这一天长颈鹿骑着自行车从下面穿过，根本没看到鳄鱼最甜蜜的微笑。

I have to perform some acrobatics on the overpass.croc thought, then she’ll notice me.
我要在天桥上表演一些特技。鳄鱼想，这样她肯定会注意到我。

Unfortunately giraffe’s friend was telling her something important, she didn’t see croc’s acrobatics.
可惜长颈鹿的好朋友，正在对长颈鹿说很重要的事情，她根本没看到鳄鱼表演什么特技。

Croc thought, I’m going to climb onto her favourite tree, and ask her to have some leaves.
鳄鱼想，我要爬到她最喜爱的树上，然后请她吃树叶。

To make sure there were no hiccups, croc even bought some very tasty leaves.
为了不出一点差错，鳄鱼还去买了一些特别鲜嫩的树叶。

But giraffe had a sore throat that day, it felt knotted and she had lost her appetite completely. She bought some medicine for her throat and didn’t even look at her favourite tree or croc.

想不到长颈鹿那天喉咙痛，好像打了一个结，她完全没有胃口，她去买了治喉咙的药水，对那棵她最喜爱的大树，还有鳄鱼看也没看一眼。

But croc didn’t give up.

但是鳄鱼并没有放弃希望。

I’m going to sing a love song for her, surely she’ll look at me.

我要为她演奏一首情歌，她肯定会从门外看过来。

But that day giraffe was listening to her own music, she totally missed croc’s love song.

可惜那天长颈鹿一直都在听自己的音乐，完全没听到鳄鱼的情歌。

I’ve got it! Croc realised suddenly.

有了！鳄鱼忽然想到.

I could use a rope to lasso her neck, drag her head down, then she’d be able to see me!

我可以用一根绳索套住她的脖子，把她的头拉下来，这样她就能看到我啦！

Croc threw out the rope and lassoed giraffe.
