1.你看我们把约会推迟到9:30方便吗？Do you think it's convenient to postpone the appointment till 9:30?

2.我们把约会推迟到下个星期天可以吗？Is it okay if we postpone the appointment till next Sunday?

3.我恐怕要晚一点。太多的事情要处理了。I'm afraid I'll be a bit late. So many things to deal with.

4.很抱歉我今天不能如期赴约了。I'm sorry I can't keep the appointment with you today.

5.我改一下时间，比如星期天，你介意吗？Do you mind if I change it to another time, say,  Sunday?

6.换个时间和地点行吗？Can we change the time and place?

Canceling after You've Already Accepted 接受邀请后有变

Emma: Hello. Kevin. I hate to do this, but l have to cancel our appointment.

艾玛：你好，凯文。我不想这样做，但是我不得不取消咱们的约会。

Kevin:  Oh no! Why? l was looking forward to seeing you at my new place.

凯文：哦，不要啊！为什么呀？我一直盼着你来我的新家看一看呢。

Emma: Yeah, I really wanted to come too. But something unexpected in Shanghai has come up. I have to fly out for a few days, but I'll be back soon.

艾玛：是啊，我也很想来啊。但是上海那边发生了点意外。我得坐飞机去那里几天，不过我很快就回来了。

Kevin:  No problem. Call me when you get back.

凯文：那好吧。你回来了就给我打电话。

Emma: I should have some free time next week. Say, next Wednesday evening?

艾玛：我下周应该会有时间的。比如说下周三晚上，怎么样？

Kevin: That's good for me, but do you think you'll be back by then? I'd really like to see you.

凯文：我倒是没问题，只是那时你觉得你能回得来吗？我真的很想见你。

Emma:  Yeah. I'm expecting to come back on Tuesday.

艾玛：能。我预计周二就可以回来了。

Kevin:  Great! That's settled then.

凯文：那太好了！就这么定了。
