Techniques used in this stitch (British term / American term):

Chain stitch – ch

Double crochet / Single crochet – dc/sc

Treble / double crochet – tr/dc

Puff stitch – pff: yarn over, insert hook into st, yarn over, draw yarn through stitch. Repeat preceding step 2 times. Yarn over hook and draw yarn through first 6 loops on hook, yarn over and draw through all loops on hook.

Pff shell - shell: work 1pff 2ch 1pff 2ch 1pff in same st.

Stitch – st

Foundation Chain: Multiples of 6 2

Row 1: Skip 1ch and make 1dc/sc in next, skip 2ch, * 1shell in next ch, 1ch, skip 5ch; rep from *, 1shell in next ch, 1dc/sc in last ch, turn.

Row 2: Make 3ch and 1tr/dc in first dc/sc below, *1ch, 1dc/sc in middle pff of shell below, 1ch, 1tr/dc 2ch 1tr/dc in middle ch between two shells; rep from *, 1ch, 1dc/sc in middle pff of shell below, 1ch, 2tr/dc in last dc/sc, don’t turn.

Row 3: Fasten yarn to third ch of row below, make 1ch and 1dc/sc in same third ch, * work 1shell in next dc/sc below, 1ch; rep from *, 1shell in next dc/sc below, 1dc/sc in last tr/dc below, turn.

Row 4: Make 3ch and 1tr/dc in first dc/sc below, *1ch, 1dc/sc in middle pff of shell below, 1ch, 1tr/dc 2ch 1tr/dc in space of 2ch between two tr/dc (of Row 2); rep from *, 1ch, 1dc/sc in middle pff of shell below, 1ch, 2tr/dc in last dc/sc, don’t turn.

Repeat rows 3 - 4 until you have reached your desired length.
