Emaho!

Your vajra body ofinnate wisdom, free from extremes,

completely heals theprimordial knots of pain.

Kurukulla, may yourlaughter, the union of bliss and emptiness,

repel the attacks ofignorance’s attachment to reality.

Amitabha, Avalokita,Padmakara, Hayagriva

Oddiyana Jambhala,Tara, red Varahi,

Takkiraja and hisconsort, the treasures of wrathful power and great bliss,

please grant me thesupreme and ordinary siddhis, the brilliant union ofappearance and emptiness.

You are the splendorof spontaneous magical manifestations

of the vajra bodies,speech, minds, qualities, and activities of all buddhas.

You are the face ofpower, a great treasure of wisdom’s brilliant radiance,

Bhagavati GoddessKurukulla, I pray to you.

May you still thewaves of this ocean of illusory thoughts

that deceive me intopowerlessly experiencing happiness and suffering,

caught in the badhabit of believing good and bad to be real

and conceptualizingwhatever my mind perceives.

My addiction tobelieving in reality imprisons me

in the dungeon ofhappy and sad thoughts.

I am powerless,completely helpless,

I cry to you forrefuge, my one Mother, the mistress of power.

My channels and airsare deranged by the tight bondage of desire,

Agitated, coarseelements of the moon26 arise and cease.

May all the seeds ofthe wheel of confusion

dissolve into the magical seed of Kurukulla.

 

May there appear the wheel of magical appearances

which envelops samsara and nirvana within the seal of great bliss

in the lotus anthers of the birthless Queen of Space’s dance of pleasure,

the clouds of vajra brilliance, the supreme taste of the red and whiteelements.

Clarity and emptiness: the major and minor signs, the brilliant vitalityof samsara and nirvana.

Sound and emptiness: the melody of speech, the appearance of symbols, andthe dance of dependent origination.

Wisdom and emptiness: limitless compassion pervading all is perceived.

May they manifest as Goddess Kurukulla pervading all space.

May we practitioners, until we reach the essence of enlightenment,

never be bound by the power of bad karma and negative tendencies, but

obtain the treasure of your Family and brilliant power,

and spontaneously accomplish effortless activity that benefits beings.

May there be happiness and joy for whoever sees, hears, thinks, or dreamsof me.

May the quintessence of samsara and nirvana,

the power of the dance of bliss and emptiness,

be awoken through by the auspicious magical power of your inescapablesharp hook.

May nondual compassion and wisdom, a jewel that is a naturally presentelement,

be a young lotus receiving the power of the sun,

and remaining for as long as space remains,

as a treasure of benefit and happinessfor all realms of beings.

 

May all dangers, such as illness, demons, obstacles, and sorceries, cease.

May there be the wealth of life, power, prosperity, fame, and joy.

Grant happiness and benefit to my dependents and all others.

And may I become like you, the one Mother.

When the illusory body, the city of dependent origination is beingdestroyed,

may there be, within the red light of Kurukulla, great bliss

within the expanse of the warm embrace,

the one taste of the vast essence of equality.

 

I was enjoying thesolitude and natural environment of the place known as Bamboo Island inVietnam. Even though I was not engaged in Kurukulla practice, I spontaneouslyfelt faith in her, convinced that she was the greatest deity for grantingwisdom and love. Thinking of these qualities of the one mother, I spontaneouslywrote this prayer from my faith.

As this was written withthe pure qualities of faith and experience, if anyone respectfully recites,prints, distributes it, or makes a fire or wind-turned prayer wheel from it,all their activities, life, span, power, and wishes will be auspiciouslyaccomplished.

May there be goodfortune.
