英语900句第16课笔记

Notes taken by Claire

I’m still in Beijing right now. I’m in outside. This afternoon, I just went to the best school in ChinaThey call it RDFZ, it’s pretty interesting. RDFZ is actually Ren Da Fu Zhong. So this afternoon I went RDFZ, and I gave a speech to like the entire junior 2. I had a great time because those kids are really cute, they are really lovely. To my surprise, 这些同学英语都很不错. I spoke English all the time. I was a little bit afraid they might not be able to understand, but it just went really well. Not a problem at all. So I think part of reason, they started their early training when they are pretty young, like 5 or 6 years old. 在未来会说英语不是一个优势了,而是一个必备的本领,看重的是你英语好不好,发音标不标准。It actually gives everyone a big challenge. We cannot lose to those younger generations.

Maybe it’s 5 minutes, maybe it’s 5 years, or maybe it’s 50 years, but there’s one thing that’s for sure, everyone is going to have your moment, but before you enjoy the highlight of your life, you have to practice, you have to rehearse. Because it’s a show you have to rehearse, but the problem is you don’t have time to rehearse your life, because life is live. Every day is a new day. What’s a happy life?
