Go to any/great lengths (idiom) ●To try very hard to achieve something. (竭尽全力,全力以赴) Examples: 1.We went to great lengths to ensure that this film was historically accurate. 2.He'll go to any lengths to get what he wants. Crop out (phrasal verb) ●To happen or appear unexpectedly. (意外地出现或发生) Examples: 1.We mustn't get unwary just because nothing unusual has cropped up. 2.Her name keeps cropping up in conversation. Throw a tantrum/wobbly (idiom) ●To suddenly become very angry and behave in an unreasonable way; to react in a very angry way.
