Gang, Yao, a Chinese freelance artist.
He was born in 1965 and grew up in Liaoyang,a small city with over three thousand years history,that locates in the northeast of China.
His art career started at 8 years old and has been greatly influnced by his parents,who both deeply studied ancient Chinese philosophy, poetry and the art of calligraphy.
Gang,Yao also learned calligraphy, traditional painting, poetry and some works of the ancient Buddhist and philosophers.
When he began creating his own paintings he realized that there were an expression of the poetry and philosophy he had studied.
The purpose of this exhibition is trying to expand Australian's awareness of traditional Chinese art.

Even when I am lonely and no one understand me, I am be happy in my dreams. Ordinary people don’t understand me but I know I’m a part of something bigger.

A man leaves society behind and finds solace in the isolation of the mountains where he can listen to the music of the leaves and grass.

18，Endless of Scenery, The vast beauty of nature. Our life is no more than 100 years, a tiny spec in the universe but we have the opportunity to enjoy the moonlight, the trees, tender grass and all of nature that God gives us.
