Call for papers Applied Energy UNiLAB Special Issue on“Optimization methods and advanced applications for smart energy systemsconsidering grid-interactive demand response” ━ Introduction ━ 能源系统正在经历一个快速的转变,这一转变将重塑电网中的供需平衡关系。 Energysystems are undergoing a fast transition, especially facilitated by the fastdevelopment of information communications technologies. This transition willreshape the interaction between the electricity suppliers and consumers andlead to a paradigm shift in how the balance of supply and demand is met in theelectricity grid. The smart grid market mechanism is playing a vital role ofever-increasing importance to enable synergetic interactions between consumersand suppliers, such as in the form of demand response and grid-interactiveefficient buildings, and assure the successful implementation of smart grids. Therefore, it is essential to explore underlying smart grid market mechanismsas well as optimization methods and advanced applications for smart energysystems, by taking into consideration the participation of demand responseunder a specific market frame. The optimization and planning of smart energysystems call for a deep understanding of multiple aspects regarding theinteraction between suppliers and consumers, e.g., the applied marketmechanisms and relevant tariffs for electricity and other energy carriers, theparticipation and behavior of various demand response resources (such as smartbuildings, smart homes, electric vehicles), the control strategies for demandresponse resources, advanced technologies to enable interaction betweensuppliers and consumers, the interaction among demand response resources, advanced applications of demand response resources for smart energy systems, and modelling and optimization methods for smart energy systems. This SpecialIssue will be coordinated by the Applied Energy UNiLAB: SGMM. UNiLAB is aninternational virtual lab of collective intelligence in applied energyresearch.
