Soldier Sally the TV play SOLDIER SALLY /SHI BING TU JI has been hot for long. I heard of it from a good friend last year, but I passed it, taking for granted that it was no more than a soap play, I am, no...I think most people that have their own ideas, are quite tired of the similar plots and stories of invented love, bloody violence and strange fiction. As we are exposed too much on that visual world, our nerves and sensations sometimes become fatigue or even alergic to real life to the end. Still some young thoughts like it, some TV makers selfishly take use of this motive, feed it and make it prevails. Good TV comes to less, even if it is hot, hot TV doen't have to carry a lot. The independ soul has to make choice of its own. It happened to be a weekend when I came back from Guangzhou, 10 days stay in the fair maked me collapsed tired, so I didn't go any place but staying before the screen on line, looking for delightful vedios, then, SOLDIER ON RUSH happened to pop into my eyes. The play doesn't simplely narrate a story of life in the army. it actually tells how life keeps struggling on the way to its end. 1' What's happyness? The life in the half-deserted watching spot is where happiness lives. It hides in rulelessly disorder and lives in the soul of freedom. the watching spot is not indeed a working place, it is more like a miniature of a primal society, where people live as they like. Rule and order are the enemy of happiness. so it's disapeared when the dramatis personae breaks into their life. what's more, the dramatis personae is a symbal of life pressures, imported thoughts and temptations. people could have peace in their mind, but as soon as all kinds of thoughts and temptations impact on them, as soon as the realize there is some one different from the rest of them, the peaceful life gets ripples, they become tense and anxious, and they go experience pressure and disappointment. To that sense, to be happy is to safeguard the peacefullness of the land in your mind and grow faithfullness. 2' How to pursue in life? Actually, I don't know people live for what? do we live for a bed to sleep, food to eat or live to bring on the generation?! Xu San Duo went to the army for a purpose that he no longer need to face his tough father at the very beginning, then he lived for the team head - a brotherly soldier - with the wish to keep him in the army. and then, he lived for a slogan: "keep on! no give-up!" and I could always hear him murmering: "To live a meaningful life is to do as much as meaningful things, as much as meaningful things make up of a meaningful life." All these were his aims in a certain period and his whole faith. I suddenly find that success is not a matter of how big aim, but a matter of simple faith, the purer the faith you have in mind, the more the chance you will have to the success. 3' How to be successful? You may not have to get to know a lot of poeple and try every possible to weave the relationship networks. it's time and energy forbided, and you may find it worthless and inefective to the end. But you do need a friend who is really willing to help you, who can share laughs and tears with you. You do need some elite in your field that helps you when you are forgotten. you need a few opportunities and you know and can grasp one or two of them in your life. that's it. Nov. 8, 2007

I got emotional inside after watching Soldier Sally, I thought I felt sth. and wrote them down, so, that's what I look to this TV play. The translations maybe is right to my understanding, but not for all people.
