如何正确地使用英语连词，扩充句子的长度与内容？

连接词的作用可不是扩充句子，而是让文章连贯通顺。连贯通顺是高考作文最高分档的判分要求。

比如领导讲话，上来就说：我只讲三点。 First …Second…Last but not the least… ，一条一条清晰明白，大家都听懂了。这就是对连接词的运用。

想运用好连接词，你得知道连接词的前后连的什么。以下我把连接词按功能做了分类，并附上例句或者例文
