Try with Coke
I’m not really a fan of spirits but I wanted to try this. Still tasted a bit harsh for me so I mixed it with some Coke and it was really nice (although we’d run out of ice which would’ve made it nicer). 13th December 2018 I had this once. It tastes like liquid joy. I have promised myself I'll buy another one at some point, but as this one bottle of cognac is 1/3 the price of a Submariner, it won't be soon. 19th October 2018 After managing hedge funds all day, nothing takes the edge off like a little Remy Martin. Especially satisfying while relaxing in an infinity pool. 13th July 2017 Uniquely complex. Floral, incense, grapefruit, freshly sawn wood, raisins and a great storied history. Just try it! 21st May 2017 Bought in Cannes, beautiful.. Lovely fruit bursts, then Apple, then oak barrels.. The very best. Drank all of mine except for the mini bottle they are hard to find and $$$ too. If you like Remy Martin extra is almost as good at much less cost but still costly 26th January 2015

My Bottle of Luis
In my opinion, Luis is one of the finest and smoothest tasting Cognacs I have ever had. I was first introduced to it in 1985 and have had 8 bottles since. I savor every drop. 25th September 2014

I've been lucky enough to have Louis XIII, Louis XIII Rare Cask, and Louis XIII Black Pearl......... They got better in taste as the price point suggests. Superb!!!! 9th September 2014

You get what you pay for. About as smooth as it gets. If you enjoy cognac and take the plunge and buy it, you will not be disappointed. It's like drinking silk. Each decanter has a unique serial number, which you can enter on the Louis XIII web-site to gain access to their club, tasting events, etc. Anyone who enjoys fine cognac should try this more than once in their lifetime. Birthday surprise!
I had a glass on my 45th birthday, given from a generous friend who had 3 bottles at home. Superb aroma, rich taste. It practically warms up the body for few days. Couldn't ask for more as a glass itself cost $500 in my country :) 24th September 2013

too expensive. in my country, this kind of whiskey only costs $50 31st July 2013 looks immense going to get it for my father in laws birthday and I can't wait to taste it 5th March 2013 Had a few drops of this to cap off a trip. It's absolutely lovely nectar, flowery and fruity with an aroma that just keeps on giving and giving. Very rich, very smooth, and very delicious. I wanted to live inside that snifter. Magnificent. 3rd September 2012 I bought this for my mother in law because she rocks and is a lot of fun to drink with. Superb aroma and unspeakably smooth. Remy Martin Louis XIII Cognac
I was given a taste of it at Christmas.Generous host let us have a glass each.Not a very large glass mind you.The aroma deep and smooth and very warm on the palate.Its worth its way in gold and indeed it cost as much as gold.Superlative if I may say so.I would have liked to have tasted second glass but to no avaik. 7th January 2012 |
