1.当从句的谓语动词是主动语态的一般时态或者进行时态时，变从句为一般式的现在分词短语 比如这个句子：When he saw nobody at home,he decided to leave them a note. 可以变为：Seeing nobody at home,he decided to leave them a note. 2.当从句的谓语动词是“be+形容词或名词”的系表结构，变从句为“be+表语”的现在分词短语 比如这个句子：As he was ill,he asked for sick leave from school. 可以变为：Being ill,he asked for sick leave from school. 3.当从句的谓语动词是“be+过去分词”的结构时，变从句为过去分词短语 比如这个句子：As they are led by the party,the people have rapidly improved their life. 可以变为：Led by the party,the people have rapidly improved their life. 4.当从句的谓语动词是完成时态，变从句为完成式现在分词短语 比如这个句子：As I had learned driving cars several years before,I easili passed the driving test. 可以变为：Having earned driving cars several years before,I easili passed the driving test. 5.当从句是after引导的，谓语动词是一般时态，也变从句为完成式的现在分词短语 例如这个句子：After he switched the light,he left the office. 可以变为：Having switched the light,he left the office. 6.从句是否定句，把从句变成否定式分词短语，即“not+分词短语” 例如这个句子：Because she did not know how to open the door,he asked me for help. 可以变为：Not knowing how to open the door,he asked me for help. 7.从句是名词作主语时，应将这个名次调到主句的主语位置，再作从句的改写 例如这个句子：When Tom was lost in thought.he almost ran into a car. 可以变为：Lost in thought.he almost ran into a car. 8.当从句是含“be+现在分词或过去分词”构成的定语从句时，变从句为一般式的分词短语 例如这个句子：The number of people who were killed or seriously injured reached more than 400,000. 可以变为：The number of people killed or seriously injured reached more than 400,000. 9.有时，也可以把一些并列分句改成分词短语 例如这个句子：The teacher came in and he was followed by some students. 可以变为：The teacher came in,followed by some students. |
