manage 的用法

一、manage  意为“设法完成（困难的事）；应付（困难局面）”，常用短语：manage to do sth. 努力完成某事。如：

We managed to go to the airport in time. 我们尽力及时赶到了机场。
二、manage  还可意为“经营；管理。如：
He has managed this company for 10 years since his father died. 自从他父亲去世后，他已经管理这个公司十年了。
三、manage to do sth. 与 try to do sth. 的区别：
1、manage to do sth. 表示“设法做成某事”，强调成功做成某事。如：
But if we insist on speaking, we can manage to do it. 但只要我们坚持说，就一定可以做到。
2、try to do sth. 表示“努力做某事”，强调努力做某事，但是不一定成功。如：
Whatever helps you relax, try to do more of it. 任何能帮助你放松的事情，尽量多做。
