答案是例句1不对，例句2正确，原因是——得看具体情况。

我们之所以纠结since能否与ago连用，一个可能是since和ago的用法没掌握到位，另一个可能是在学现在完成时，就纠结过这两个含有for和since的句子：

I've been working here for two months. （对）

I’ve been working here since two months ago. （错）

I’ve been working here since two months. （错）

为了弄清楚到底since能否与ago连用，我们就先来理清楚for、since、ago这三个词在谈论时间上的用法及区别吧。

For

• For + period（时间段）

这个时间段可以用来指事情或动作发生在过去、现在、或未来里的五分钟（five minutes）、两周（twoweeks）、六年（six years）等。

例句：

He lived in Beijing for 3 years and then he moved. （发生在过去，且也在过去结束）

他在北京生活了3年，然后才搬的家。

He has lived in Beijing for a couple of months. （发生在过去，持续到现在）

他在北京住了几个月。（现在还在住）

They’re going to stay in Beijing for three days and then they’re goingto Shanghaifor a day. （未来的计划）

他们将在北京呆三天，然后去上海呆一天。

• For可用于任何时态

过去时：When I was sixteen, I stayed in London for two months. （我十六岁时，在伦敦呆过两个月。）

现在时：I go on holidays for two weeks every summer.（每年夏天都会休假两周。）

将来时：While I am in the USA, I will be in New York for two days. （我在美国期间，将在纽约呆两天。）

• 但，通常情况下，for不与“all day”和“all the time”连用：

I was there all day. （不用 forall day）

• Since + point（时间点）:

这个时间点是指事件或行动（目前为止还未结束）发生在过去某一个具体的时间点，比如九点钟（9 o'clock）、五月一日（1st May）、周一（Monday）等。

例句：

They’ve lived in Beijing since 2004. 他们自2004年就住在北京。

• Since除了后跟表示时间点的时间名词或短语外，还可以将since用作连词引y引入一个发生在过去的事件或动作。即主句（完成时），since –从句（过去时）。

例句：

I haven’t played rugby since I leftuniversity. 我大学毕业后就没打过橄榄球。

• Since通常用在完成时态中。

例句：

The factory has been here since the 1970s. 这家工厂从 20 世纪 70 年代起就在这里了。

• Since还可以用作时间副词。

例如：

She left London ten years ago, and I haven’t seen her since. 她十年前离开伦敦，此后我再没有见过她。

• 还可在如下句子结构中是使用since。

“It is + [period] + since-从句”

英式英语一般说 it is a long time/two weeks etc since … ,而美式英语则一般说 it has been a long time/two weeks etc since … ,两种说法都是正确的

It is weeks since I saw Grandma. （英式英语）

It has been weeks since I saw Grandma. （美式英语）

• Since + -ing的用法。

Since + -ing形式用来表示主句和从句中动词主语相同。

例句：

Since leaving school, he has had three or four temporary jobs. (Since he left school, he has …)

离开学校后，他做过三四份零时工。

Since moving from a Chicago suburb to southern California a few months ago, I’ve learned how to play a new game called Lanesmanship. (Since I moved …, I’ve learned …)

• Period（时间段）+ ago

这个时间段指的是从过去的某一时刻到现在已经结束的一段时间，比如到目前为止的“五分钟（five minutes）前、两周（two weeks）前、六年（six years）前”等。

例句：

I came to Tokyo two years ago. 我两年前就来了东京。

I arrived at the bus stop 10 minutes ago. 我十分钟前就到了公共汽车站。

The company was founded 30 years ago. 这家公司成立于30年前。

• ago和过去时连用，不和现在完成时连用。

例如：

I received his letter four days ago. 我四天前收到他的信。

不能说：I have received his letter four days ago.

• 带ago的短语之前不用at，in，on等介词。

例如：

They first met fifteen years ago. 他们15年前相识。

（不能说at/in fifteen years ago）

• ago不和since或before连用

I came to the US two months ago我两个月前来到美国。

（不能说since/before two months ago）
