In a shocking announcement, actress Lin Chi-ling revealed that she has tied the knot - with Japanese boyband Exile's member Akira.
现年44岁的林志玲，于6日晚在微博上晒出与Akira的合影，并附长文感言。
Lin, 44, posted a photo of herself with Akira, 37, on Weibo on Thursday night (June 6), with a long note.
“我一直坚信，只要我努力相信爱情，爱情有一天会眷顾于我。跌跌撞撞，兜兜转转后，不同的时空再相遇，在对的时间，让我们看见爱情的模样，”林志玲写道，“我结婚了！也希望每个相信爱情的你和妳，都能拥有属于自己的爱情。”
In it, she says: 'I have always believed that if I believe in love, love will one day reward me. After many falls, twists and turns, we met at a different time - a right time, which showed us the face of love.' She ended the note by saying: 'I'm married! I hope that everyone of you who believes in love will find a happiness that belongs to you.'
没有悬念，林志玲结婚的消息直接冲上热搜，在40分钟内收获超70万点赞和10万余转发。甚至有网友反应，微博一度因此出现异常。
Her post jumped to the top of Weibo's realtime trending charts and garnered over 700,000 likes and over 100,000 retweets in less than 40 minutes. Some commenters even complained about the service being slow to show their well wishes, due to the avalanche of posts.

Posts about Akira, who was relatively unknown in China, also surged across social media.
Akira本名黑泽良平，从2006年开始就是Exile/ EXILE THE SECOND组合的成员。
Akira, whose real name is Ryohei Kurosawa, has been part of Exile as a performer and dancer since 2006 and is considered part of its second generation.
Akira同样在微博和Instagram上公布婚讯。他表示两人于8年前共同主演舞台剧《赤壁·爱》时相识。
Akira also posted on both Weibo and his official Instagram account. He explained that he and Lin met eight years ago during the Japanese stage play production of Red Cliff.
据《海峡时报》报道，林志玲的模特事业推动她进入演艺圈后，在2008年吴宇森的历史类电影《赤壁》中出演小乔。随后，她在舞台剧中继续饰演这一角色，对手戏搭档正是Akira扮演的周瑜。
Lin, whose modelling work led her to acting opportunities, played Xiaoqiao in John Woo's historical film Red Cliff (2008) and reprised her role for the stage play, starring opposite Akira, who played her husband - the strategist Zhou Yu.

The news of their marriage came as a shock as Lin and Akira were not previously reported to be dating. Lin was linked to actor Jerry Yan previously. The two were in an on-again-off-again relationship and were photographed vacationing together in 2017, sparking talk of reconciliation.
