- 【分数】先“子”后“母”，子“基”母“序”；子＞1，母序“复”
- ① 先说分子，后说分母。
- 1/2：a half 或 one half
- ② 分子用基数词，分母用序数词。
- 1/3：a third 或 one third
- ③ 分子大于1时，分母序数词用复数。
- 3/4：three fourths 或three quarters
- 【小数】小数前，读基数；小数点，point；点后数，挨个读
- 小数点前面的基数词读法不变；小数点后的数字挨个读出。

- （1）倍数+as+形容词/副词（原级）+as+比较对象

- 例：This bridge is thre times longer than tha one.
- （3）倍数+ the size/lngth/weight…+of比较对象
- 例：This bridge is thre times the lngth of tha one.

- score, thousand, hundred, million等词的用法
- ①与具体数字连用时，这些词通常不用复数形式，后面也没有of。
- 例：About three million workers were on strike.
- ②不与具体数字连用时，这些词用复数，后接介词of+名词（也可单独使用，后面不用of+n）
- 例：scores of students;housands of scholars，Milons (of people) are homels.
序数词：“加or不加”冠词- 序数前，加冠词；常＋the，又一a/an
- 例：It’s the third time I’ve been here.
- 例：I have worn out two pairs of shoes and I need a third pair.
- 序数前，不加冠：所有格，考第一，作副词，习惯语
- （1）序数词前有物主代词或名词所有格
- 例：This Tom’s second vist to China.
- （2）表示比赛或考试的名次
- 例：He was (the) second in the English exam.
- （3）序数词作副词时
- 例：I have to finsh my homework first. Second, we wil deal withis problem.
- （4）在某些习惯用语中，序数词前不用冠词
- 例：at first
