【艺术简历】

严家宽，男，1950 年生于中国湖北省。

1971 年至今一直从事绘画艺术的探索与创作。1974 年在湖北大学读书，1977 年留校任教，2004 年至 2014 年任该校艺术学院院长、教授。自 1983 年至今在中国武汉、北京和美国、澳大利亚、德国、塞尔维亚等地举办个人画展，他喜欢用绘画语言记录他所游历过的美丽山川，还把中国古代的青铜器也表现在他的笔下。

他把中国传统绘画中的文人写意山水画与西方印象派绘画中的色彩成功的融合，把东方的、西方的；古代的、当代的；具象的、抽象的；写实的、写意的理念和技法运用到自己的艺术创作中，并通过几十年的坚持不断的努力实现了新的突破，他是中国当代重彩写意山水画的领军人。

Yan Jiakuan, male, was born in 1950 in Hubei Province, China.

Since 1971, he has been engaged in the exploration and creation of painting art. He studied in Hubei University in 1974, stayed in school in 1977, and served as the dean and professor of the school of art from 2004 to 2014. Since 1983, he has held individual exhibitions in Wuhan, Beijing, the United States, Australia, Germany, Serbia and other places. He likes to record the beautiful mountains and rivers he has traveled in painting language, and also displays the ancient Chinese bronzes in his works.

He successfully integrated the literati freehand landscape painting in traditional Chinese painting with the color in Western impressionist painting, and applied the Oriental, western, ancient, contemporary, concrete, abstract, realistic and freehand concepts and techniques to his own artistic creation, and achieved a new breakthrough through decades of persistent efforts.
