I’m very clear that life is not successful at any time, it is full of challenges. So, I prepare for receiving challenges coming from life, and tell myself never give up at any moment. If I failed this time I will reflect on myself and move on. 11. Tell us a little bit about your family. 家庭氛围，父母支持考研，父母好的品质 There are four members in my family; my parents, my sister and me. My father is a technician in .... He often goes out on business. So, most of the housework is done by my industrious mom. Climbing mountains at weekends is our common interest. The fresh air and natural beauty can help us get rid of tiredness. They can strengthen our relationship, too. During my preparing for coming here, my parents’ love and support have always been my power. And I hope in future I will be able to repay them. 12. What's your favorite book and why? My favorite book is the Old Man and the Sea which is written by Ernest Hemingway, one of the greatest American writers. The book told us a story about an old man called Diego who did fishing in Cuba. Though he came across lots of difficulties on the sea and came back without a single fish, he was optimistic and still held the hope. Diego is like a mirror which reflects what Hemingway wanted to tell all of us: Never give up and the final success will come right after the last try. I’ve stuck on that wisdom all the time ever since I read this book for that story makes me believe there is no stronger thing ever than a strong human belief. 13.Please introduce your undergraduate school (university) to us. 感谢母校，对母校持感激态度 I have studied in ... During my college years, I have made rapid and great progress in many areas. 14.Introduce your hometown. Talk about your hometown. As the birthplace of Mao Zedong, founder of the People’s Republic of China(PRC), Hunan province has contributed to the founding and growth of the country. Over the first decade of the 21st century, the province’s gross domestic production(GDP) has annually increased over 10％. Hunan is emerging as one of China’s central provinces maintaining stable and fast growth. 15. What is your major? How do you like your major? My major is XX, a subject related to a variety of relevant fields, also a subject researching how the world society functions. I like my major in terms of the following reasons. First, it helps me to get to learn some novel knowledge that I never touched before. Second, it provides a chance to explore the deeper level of the subject, which I am interested in. Finally, I think that based on the knowledge we acquired from classes, we can engage in more significant projects, and as a result, make contribution to the development of the human society. 16. Can you briefly talk about your working experiences? I have a five-year experience in the chemical industry since I graduated from college. At first, I worked as an assistant engineer in the No.1 Chemical Industry Co. Three years later I transferred to ABC Chemist Industry Company. Now I am working in the Sale Department of that company. I believe that what I have learned in work will help me gain better understanding of the courses in XX. |
