Before she left, she spoke to her husband Mr.Brown,

“I must tell you how to do housework, but my train is leaving in half an hour’s time. I must go now.”

“Don't worry,” Mr. Brown said. “I can take care of myself.”

In fact, he could do things well without his wife. He thought, when my wife comes back tomorrow, she won’t have to wash any plates. She must be happy.
事实上，没有妻子他能把事情做的很好。他想，当我的妻子明天回来时，她不必再洗盘子了。她一定很高兴。

The next day, Mrs. Brown came back. When she saw the plates, she was very happy.

“How clean they are,” she said to her husband. “You do very well.”

“Yes, of course,” said Mr. Brown.“I had my meals in the restaurant.”
