我们在生活中不少与数字打交道 有的时候我们能说出精确的数字 但更多时候我们只能说出个大概 那么，“差不多的数据”英语应该怎么表达呢? '二十多' 别用 more than twenty！more than是“多于；比……多；超出”的意思 但是more than twenty可别理解成“二十多”! 这样的表达是在强调 不止20（可能是40,50,80…） 意思差老远了 所以如果你说一个女生二十多岁， 用了more than twenty 是很可能会被打的 
正确的是 twentysomething -something is combined with numbers such as twenty and thirty to form adjectives which indicate an approximate amount, especially someone's age. For example, if you say that someone is thirty-something, you mean they are between thirty and forty years old. 数字(如twenty或者thirty)与-something结合在一起构成形容词，表示的是大致的数量，尤其是某人的年龄。例如，如果你说某人是thirty-something，你的意思是他们在三十到四十岁之间。 something表示不明确的'几' 类似的表达还有 thirtysomething percent 百分之三十几吧 one hundred something people 一百来号人吧 例句： Many twentysomething entrepreneurs make their fortunes on the internet. 许多20多岁的企业家通过互联网发家致富。 
“十几”岁的表达并不在这一系列里，
而是直接用 teens， teenage，或者 teenager teens A person's teens are the period in which they are aged between 13 and 19 十几岁 例： Both my daughters are in their teens. 我的两个女儿都十几岁。 He's in his early/mid/lateteens. 他十三四／十五六／十八九岁。 此外 表示人的不确切岁数 也可以用几十的复数形式表示 例句： He became a professor in his thirties. 他三十多岁时成为了教授。 当基数词表示不确切数字，如成百、成千上万，三三两两时，基数词则以复数形式出现。 好几百的 = hundreds of 好几百块 = hundreds of yuan 类似的 好几万= tens of thousands of 好几万块 = tens of thousands of yuan (ten 和 thousand 都要加 s ) 英文里没有'万'这个单位 1万 = 10千= ten thousand 例句： There are hundreds of people in the hall. 大厅里有数以百计的人。 Tens of thousands of people packed into the gym. 几万人挤进了那座体育馆。
