【原】take to 是不是带到哪里的意思

如果你说是，那抱歉只对了一半。当 take to 意为“带某人或某物到某处”时，必须跟名词或代词作宾语，此时名词或宾语只能放在中间，若放在其他位置，意思可能发生变化，例如：

Would you mind taking these letters to the post office for me?

你能帮我把这些信送到邮局吗？

I'm taking Jenny to her mom's house for the weekend.

我要带珍妮去她妈妈家度周末。

Take this to Bill so he can sign it.

把这个交给比尔让他签字。

但 take to 作为一个整体却不是带到哪里的意思，它可以意为：

一、喜欢上，喜爱，尤指短时间接触后，例如：

That child has really taken to her. 

那孩子真的很喜欢她。

I'm so happy that my parents have taken to my new girlfriend.

我很高兴我的父母已经喜欢我的新女友。

I didn't think I would take to this kind of work, but I'm actually loving it so far!

我没想到我会喜欢上这种工作，但到目前为止我真的很喜欢！

二、养成(做…)的习惯；开始定时(做…)，此时的 to 是介词，后面跟动名词，例如：

My husband has taken to gardening now that he's retired.

我丈夫现在退休了，他开始从事园艺工作。

I've been taking to cycling to work as a way of getting a bit more exercise.

我一直在骑自行车上班，以此来锻炼身体。

After I graduated from college, I slowly took to waking up early.
