First or all, people like to take photos to capture the moment and the memory of their travels. For most of us, when we visit a new place, we want something to remember the experience, as it's more than likely we won't visit the place again. One can look back at one's travel photos and relive the experience in the future.

Second, people like to show their friends where they are traveling to and what they are experiencing there. I think most young people are addicted to social media, myself included. We love to share our travel photos so our friends, family and colleagues can see them. I sometimes wonder why we do this. Are we just boasting? I think maybe we are, although we probably don't like to admit it.
