[语法] take you for a ride ≠ 开车带你兜风

如果别人对你说：Don't let him take you for a ride! 你会如何理解？“不要让他带你出去兜风”？

“Ride” 可以用作动词(Verb)或名词(Noun)，用作动词的时候，它是乘搭或骑的意思。

比如：

I don’t know how to ride a motorbike.

我不会骑摩托车。

I rode a bus to the library this morning.

今天早上我搭公车到图书馆。

用作名词的时候，”Ride” 可以指乘搭/骑的车、乘搭/骑的旅程。

I’m waiting for my ride to the airport.

我在等去机场的车。

在某些情况下，“Take someone for a ride” 的确可以指载人兜风。

I just bought a new Lamborghini. Let me take you for a ride.

但“Take me for a ride” 还是一个口语固定用法，表示“误导、欺骗”等意思。
