【歌曲其实也是文学作品】 当被问到英文歌曲也可以帮助学好英语时，很多人是持反对态度的。然而，当美国摇滚、民谣歌手鲍勃·迪伦获得诺贝尔文学奖后，估计反对的人会减少了吧？（尽管网上对于这次评奖的褒贬不一，但毕竟人家获奖了） 我只想说：鲍勃·迪伦不但是个歌手（singer），是个艺术家（artist），他其实也是个诗人（poet）！正如时常被视为诺贝尔奖热门人选的印度裔英国小说家萨曼·拉什迪在社交网站上较有风度地这样说道：这是很棒的选择，因为歌和诗向来紧密相连。 似乎扯远了，其实不然。因为：既然歌曲是文学作品，那英文歌自然就可以作为语言学习材料来用了，更何况小编认为歌曲是最好的语言学习材料之一。为什么？且请耐心往后看！ 【语言与音乐】 Do you enjoy listening to music? You might think this is a relaxing or fun part of the lesson, but it is actually an excellent method to improve your English. There have been many professional studies comparing language learning to music and there are, in fact, many similarities. Firstly, they are two of the main ways in which we communicate and express ourselves. Culture:You can learn much about different cultures of different countries in an easy and convenient way. Just listening to music on your iPod while you’re walking to work will probably help to improve your pronunciation, vocab and English listening skills, but there are exercises you can do which will help you even more! 利用音乐帮助英语学习有多种办法。当你在散步或是工作时，通过iPod（或是手机等移动设备）听听音乐，可以帮助提升你的语音、词汇和英语听力技能，但是，还有更多的练习形式可以帮助你更多。 1. Choose an English song with lyrics that you can hear clearly (preferably one that you haven’t heard before). 选择一首你可以听得清楚的英文歌曲，要有歌词，而且最好是你以前没有听过的。 2. Listen to the song with your eyes closed and try to work out the theme of the song from the lyrics and the expression in the singer’s voice (is the song about love? Has the singer been hurt? Is the singer happy?) 闭上眼睛用心听，尽力从歌词以及歌手声音的演绎中弄清楚歌曲所要表达的主题（是有关爱情的？歌手是否心伤了？歌手快乐吗？）。 3. At this stage, you could listen to the song again and write down any words or phrases that you hear (whether you understand them or not). 到了这一步，你就可以试着再听一遍歌曲，写下任何你听出的单词或短语（不管你是否听懂了意思）
4. Find the lyrics online (type the song name and artist into Google and you should be able to find the lyrics easily). 到网上去搜歌词（把歌名和歌手输入到Google里，你可以很容易就找到歌词） 5. Listen to the song again and read the lyrics at the same time. Did you guess the theme of the song correctly? 边听歌曲边看歌词。这次是否正确猜出了歌曲的主题？ 6. Look up any words or phrases you don’t understand in a dictionary and write them down. 在词典中查找生词或短语的意思，并记录下来。
7. Listen to the song a few times while you read the lyrics and when you feel comfortable, start to sing along. 看着歌词，再听几遍歌曲。当你觉得没问题时，就开始跟唱。 8. Save the song onto your iPod and listen to it while you are travelling to work or school. The more you listen and sing along, the easier it will be to remember the vocabulary and grammar! 把歌曲保存到iPod（或是手机等移动设备）里，在工作或学习时听一听。你听得越多，跟唱得越多，你就更容易记住歌曲里的词汇和语法。
