In contemporary society, it has become a trend for many parents to send their kids to art classes, and art training does gain great popular among teenagers. Meanwhile, an increasing number of parents deem it rewarding for children to attend training classes of arts. Taking a look around, we can notice a great many examples: music, painting and dance classes.
A number of individuals favor kids’ learning artistic talents. Firstly, art classes may bring kids sense of aesthetics, arouses their love for life, and helps them to enjoy an over-all development. Secondly, it is art training that enables children to enrich their life and broaden their horizon. Even so, others hold an opposite view that not all kids should take art classes. In their eyes, art training means a great amount of time, money and energy; however, the result of training is not as satisfactory as expected. Then, what worries many experts is that some parents may force kids to do so, ignoring their interests.
I am convinced that the advantages derived from art classes far outweigh the disadvantages. Without trying, it is impossible for parents to know their kids’ interest. If kids are interested, parents should advocate and encourage kids to study and practice artistic skills; if not, kids should not be forced to do so. Do bear in mind: interest is the best teacher.
