那么，如何用英文表达“无语”呢？很简单：

Words fail me.

我无语。

这句话的意思等于是：I’m so surprised /angry /shocked that I don’t know what to say. “fail”在这里的意思是“失去作用/没能发挥作用/令人失望”，就是指“找不到合适的话语来描述自己的感受”。

Just look at this mess. Look at it.
It's...Words fail me!

看看这一团糟。看看吧。这真是……我无语！

To go out with a total stranger... I really cannot...
well, words fail me.

跟个完全不认识的人出去……我真是不能……好吧，我无语。

也可以用于描述很强烈的感受：
