之前我们谈了怎样用英语表达“明白”。在交流中及时地表达自己的接收度，可以保证交流接着良好地进行下去。 但如果听了对方的话，但没听清，或者听清了却没听懂，该怎么说呢？ 简单的说法有： Sorry? Pardon? Excuse me? 这三句话的意思都是： 对不起，能再说一遍吗？ 如果是没听明白，可以用以下句子： Sorry, I’m afraid I don’t follow you. 抱歉，我恐怕没听明白。 Excuse me, could you repeat the question? 对不起，你能重复一下问题吗？ I’m sorry, I don’t understand. Could you say it again? 抱歉，我不明白。你能再说一遍吗？ “I don’t understand”也可说成： I don’t get it. I didn’t hear you. Please could you tell me again? 我没听见你的话。你能再说一遍吗？ 这些句子足够你用的了！
What? 太长了？嫌难？我们再来学两句绝对短却绝对地道的口语表达： Come again? 再说一遍？ Say what? 说什么？ 最后，是高级版的，什么样的表达最高级？答案是：用成语！ (I’m afraid) it’s all Greek to me. 恐怕我全然不懂。 Sorry this is as clear as mud to me. 抱歉，这对我来说太难懂了。
