Mr. Punchline意思就是说Sherlock总是要说最后的话, 总是要在说话中占据上峰. 注意punchline要大写首字母

Carol has the last word on whether we go.(Carol对于我们是否去拥有最终的决定权)
第一个例句取字面意思: 讲最后一句话, 原文中也是取这个意思; 第二个例句是取”做最终决策”的意思
outlive God trying to do=会比上帝活的更久, 只为了做某事
我们可以把它看做一个搭配, 这是一种夸张的说法
He will outlive God trying to convince people they’re not a couple.(他会比上帝活的更久, 只为了说服别人他们不是一对)
