应该说your mom and I更好一些
但这种情况在口语中比较常见
另外注意这里you mom and me后边没说完, 但另起一个句子说we’re gonna be there. 这就是我们之前讲到的: 一个句子还没说完, 另起一个句子

check out sb/sth=打量某人, 检查某物
I’ve been taking loads of photographs, just to check out the camera.
如果sb/sth是him, us, me这种代词宾格, 则顺序为check sb/sth out
