自身代词用法

（1）作动词宾语。

某些动词常与自身代词搭配使用。例如：

behave oneself 举止规矩

Honesty is the foundation to behave oneself and start one's career.

诚信是做人的根本，立业的基础。

结构分析：Honesty是主语，is是be动词，the foundation to behave oneself and start one's career是表语，其中to behave oneself and start one's career是不定式词组，作后置定语。

 

adapt oneself to适应

One should adapt oneself to the changed conditions.

我们应当使自己适应变化了的情况。

结构分析：One是主语，should adapt是谓语，oneself是宾语，to the changed conditions是宾语补语（是oneself适应the change conditions）。
