I don't think it would handle a very large project but I have done some up to $3M without problems. I purchased MS Project but it wouldn't load and Microsoft's help was exasperating! I found Gantt Project, downloaded it and was up and running in minutes. It is very intuitive and there are helpful videos to get you started. I have no problems in recommending this tool, especially to people like me that don't have a project management background.
