But for this topic, I have to say I certainly prefer the summer.Actually, my hometown’s summer lasts from early June to late August, and especially the day can be boiling hot during July. Normally, the highest temperature is over 30 in the summer in my region without much rainfall.I prefer summer as the abundant sunshine makes me happy and energetic. In other words, I am a sun worshiper and like to get a good tan. I typically go to different places for my holiday, sometimes even enjoy sunbathing near the seaside and doing various sports. Frankly, I am totally aware the potential dangers of being exposed too much to the sun. But the sunshine can at times lift my mood.Also, it’s extremely cozy to have a great afternoon with lovely sunshine and a gentle breeze, drinking tea and chatting with friends. It’s really great to do outdoor activities. Usually, I like to have friends over for barbecues, and we stay out in the garden all evening until it gets too chilly or until it’s time for them to go home. Besides, I’ve been to many outdoor events too, like weddings, concerts, and street shows during the summer.More importantly, in summer, we don’t have to wrap up with so many layers, like we often do in the winter. We wear less and feel it’s quite convenient to move our arms and legs, which is perfect for a sporty type person like me. I love summer.
