Unit 2 How often do you exercise? 一．语法部分 (一) how often的用法 How often意为“多久一次”，常用于对always, usually, often, sometimes, hardly ever, never, once a week,twice a month等表示频度的副词进行提问。如： 1. –How often do you exercise? – Three times a week. 2. – How often does he eat KFC? –He eats KFC once a year. (二)频度副词总结 always>usually>often>sometimes>hardly (ever)>never. 另外，其他频度副词有：once a week, twice aweek, three times a week 在此结构中，除了一次为once,两次为twice之外，三次以上均为基数词+times结构。 (三)总结其他与how有关的短语。 1. how old 2. how many +可数名词复数 3. how much+不可数名词 4. how much 用于问价格 5. how long 6. how far 7. how 8. how soon“多久以后”，用于将来时 例：How soon will you go to college? In 10 years. 二．词的用法 1. maybe和may be的区别 Maybe是副词，不是动词。意思是“可能，或许，大概”，放于句首或句中，如： I go to the movies maybe once a month. May be是动词短语，may是情态动词，be是系动词，二者放在一起表示“可能是”，有推测，猜测的意思，如： Look at that boy, he may be Bob, my little brother. 2.百分数的用法 10%用英语读写作：tenpercent,其他依此类推。当百分数修饰名词作主语时，谓语动词用单数还是复数取决于后面的名词。 a. 如果后面的名词是单数或不可数，那么谓语动词就用单数，如： 15% of the water is dirty. b. 如果后面的名词是复数，那么谓语动词就不能用单数，如： 15% of our students exercise every day. 3. exercise的用法 a. exercise, 意为“锻炼”，是动词，如： He exercises every day. b. exercise意思为“锻炼”，是不可数名词，常用为：do exercise. c. exercise意思为“练习，...操”，是可数名词，如：mathexercises, do eye exercises 三．短语部分 1. go to the movies去看电影 2. go to the dentist去看牙医 3. go shopping去购物 4. help with housework帮忙做家务 =help do housework =help to do housework 5. use the Internet上网 6. piano lessons钢琴课 7. stay up late熬夜 后面+Ving形式 8. eat a healthy breakfast吃一顿健康的早餐 9. at least至少 10. junk food垃圾食品 11. want sb.
