Let’s see if I can create a mindset shift in some of you, in the way that you view your trade entry decisions. 让我们看看我是否能让你们中的一些人改变思维方式，改变你们看待交易进场决策的方式。 This discussion comes about due to a question I received after last week’s article: 这个讨论是由于我在上周的文章后收到的一个问题而引起的： Can we talk about your first trade? In the third image you said you took a small entry to test how it felt. So what do I mean by this? 那么我是什么意思？ My initial expectations, as discussed last week, were for a strong bullish momentum drive. 正如我上周讨论的那样，我最初的预期是强劲的牛市驱动。 The opening candle raised some doubts about that assessment. 开盘K线让人对这一评估产生了一些怀疑。

My initial projection is likely wrong. So, as we learnt with bar-by-bar analysis, we adjust. 我最初的预测可能是错误的。因此，正如我们通过逐K分析了解到的，我们进行了调整。 This assessment was not held with massive confidence. It’s simply what I assessed as most likely at this stage. Let the market resolve this opening battle. Reasoning: 推论： 1. It’s a small position. A full stop out is less than the usual 1R risk. 1. 这是一个小仓位。止损通常小于一倍风险。 2. It lets me feel the sentiment within the market. As much as I talk about learning to feel the buy/sell pressure through immersing yourself in the bar-by-bar action, the fact is that you can feel this FAR MORE effectively when you have some open position risk. 2. 它让我感受到了市场的情绪。正如我所说的，通过让自己沉浸在一个又一个K线的活动中，学会感受买入/卖出的压力，事实上，当你有一些未平仓风险时，你可以更有效地感受到这一点。 3. And it’s just a test of sentiment. If I like the feel of the market, I can add to the position. But if I don’t like it, I can scratch the trade well before the stop loss. A trade entry is not a locked-in-stone permanent decision. It’s this last point that I want to really highlight in this article. It’s a mindset shift that I think can benefit all traders. 这是我想在本文中真正强调的最后一点。我认为这是一种心态转变，可以让所有交易者受益。 Trade entry is a two-way door. If you step through it and don’t like what you see, you can turn around and go right back where you came from. 交易是一个双向门。如果你跨过它，不喜欢你所看到的，你可以转身回到你原来的地方。 If you enter a trade and subsequently assess that there is no longer any edge (perhaps you were wrong, or perhaps the conditions have changed), then you can get out.
