英译英：“好的一面”是on the bright side，“坏的一面”呢？​

我们说我们耗费十年八年学习英语，其根本目的不是通通用中文“懂得”了这些英语，而是应该像我这样，首先是从任何一条英语学习中养成一种习惯和条件反应：What does it mean in English?

“知道它的中文”不是我们学习英语的目的：Not at all

“好的一面”是on the bright side，“坏的一面”呢？

应该说，英语不是这么学的：“好的一面”可能是on the bright side，但是，on the bright side就不是中文“好的一面”了：我们会习惯性的查英英字典。

这就是我们的英语学习需要做的。

一、下面的英语你只有用“翻译”成中文才能理解了吗？

1. Look on the bright side—at least you work very hard on your English even though you fail in your exams every time.

2. The movie is sold out, but, on the bright side, there are plenty of other ones I wouldn't mind seeing)I could see.

二、口语：Okay.I got you.

1. Well,on the bright side means We consider=think about the positive side,(=the beneficial side=the advantageous side of something,or somebody=someone=people.

2.It's different from on the down side(=the negative side=the detrimental(big word能记就记，不能就免了吧，但我希望为了让人觉得你的英语牛B，还是记住吧，可以show一把) ,or disadvantageous side.

这下，你还怕死记硬背还是记不住on the bright side而让口语哑口无言吗？“换词说呗！”

3. Look on the bright side=Speaking positively=advantageously......

我们只有坚持这样学习，十年八年后我们的英语才会真正“成长”，而且习惯一旦形成，英语想忘人家都不会让你忘。。。。。。

所以，有了英语的准确理解能力，on the bright side也不只是中文“好的一面”：积极的，阳光的，正能量的。。。。。。
