这是一段“极简”的英语，于是人人以为：自己“读懂了”。

其实，你“读懂”的只是它的“中文(意思)”，也就是说你在“使用”的语言是中文，而从英语“学以致用”角度讲，在整个“阅读”过程中，你的英语根本没有得到任何“使用”：我们说的“英语阅读”不是给你“用”中文的，是给你把(已知)的英语“用起来”的。但是，你的“用”中文的“英译汉”式的，所谓的“英语阅读”并没有、甚至根本没有达到“用”英语的要求和目的。

难怪那些说自己“阅读还行，口语很差”的人尽管有大量“英语阅读”但最终依然还是“沦落”为“哑巴英语”：英语“读”得再多，(已知的学过的)英语却根本“不用”，岂有不成“哑巴”之理由？

一、你真以为你“读懂”下面初中英语了吗？阅读时除了“说”中文(“懂”中文)，你“说”英语试试(能想起活说出哪些学过的英语)？

Bill: Good morning, sir!

Mr Zhang: Good morning! Your name, please?

Bill: I'm Bill Brown.

Mr Zhang:Can you say something about yourself?

Bill: Well, I'm from Britain. I teach English there.

Mr Zhang: That's good! Can you speak Chinese?

Bill: Yeah, I can speak a little Chinese.

Mr Zhang: How old are you?

Bill: I'm 27.

Mr Zhang:  OK. That's it, Thank you,

Bill: Thanks.

凡是把上面英语通通翻译成中文来“读”的，通通都不能算是“英语阅读”，是变相的中文阅读：因为我没有看到你在“阅读”时有任何把(已知)英语用起来的迹象。

二、我们一起“借”读英语，把(已知)英语用起来

1) Good morning, sir!

Good morning is saying Hello,or Hi,or How do you do in the morning.

相信很多人“读到”in the morning“都懂”(用中文，of course)，但是，让他们主动使用就“不会用”：英语不是学的问题，是用的问题说的就是这个意思。

2) Good morning! Your name, please?

1. Your name,please means May I have your name,or What's your name,please?

2.If yiu say Your name,please,you mean What's your name,please,or May I have your name,please?

这就是“读”英语时“用”英语(而非用”中文)。

3) I'm Bill Brown.

My full name is Bill Brown.Bill is my first name.Brown is my last name

我们的“英语阅读”要的就是你会用(已知)英语first name和last name，而不是中文“我的名字”。

3) Can you say something about yourself?

If you say something about yourself,you introduce yourself,you presebt yourself,you give some personal information about yourself.

也就是说，我们阅读中“会用”不是中文，而是类似这样的(已知)英语。

4) I'm from Britain.

I'm from Britain means I'm British.My nationality is British.

5) I teach English there.

If you teach English,you're a teacher of English.

我始终强调的就是：你“借”阅读之机，你“会用”，“能用”英语吗？

6) How old are you?

How old are you means What's your age

7) Thank you,
